STEM & Coding Explorers
Playful introduction to coding, science, and making. Students build games, animations, simple circuits, and mini-stories using block-based coding and unplugged activities.
STEM & AI Discovery Lab is Mississauga’s future-ready learning space where kids and teens explore coding, robotics, data, and artificial intelligence—through in-person sessions and live online classes.
We mix play, projects, and real-world tech so that students don’t just consume technology— they understand and create it.
Kids learn best when they are curious, supported, and allowed to try, break, and fix things. We use guided discovery, not rote memorization, to build real confidence in STEM and AI.
Sessions are led by STEM mentors based in Mississauga, with both in-person and live online options. We encourage questions, celebrate mistakes, and help every student learn at their own pace.
All tracks are beginner-friendly and available in-person at our Mississauga studio, or live online with real instructors.
Playful introduction to coding, science, and making. Students build games, animations, simple circuits, and mini-stories using block-based coding and unplugged activities.
Students move from block coding to text-based coding, build robots, and train beginner-friendly AI models to recognize images, sounds, or patterns.
Teens explore Python, data analysis, chatbots, and responsible AI. They complete portfolio-ready projects like recommendation systems or simple AI apps.
Every term, students complete at least one capstone project they can proudly show at home or school.
A simple arcade game where players sort waste into the right bins and score points for protecting the planet — while quietly learning conditionals and loops.
Using microcontrollers and sensors, students build a mini-greenhouse that tracks temperature and soil moisture — then codes alerts when plants need attention.
Students use a beginner-friendly vision tool to recognize hand gestures and map them to robot movements, learning about training data and model accuracy.
Teens work with simple datasets to understand patterns in user ratings and build a mini recommender that suggests movies based on preferences.
“My son used to be nervous around anything ‘techy’. After a few weeks here, he was explaining loops and sensors to us at dinner. The best part — he’s having fun while learning.”
“I always thought AI was only for adults. Now I’ve built a chatbot that can answer questions about my favourite books. It makes me want to study computer science in the future.”
